My First Conversation with A Guardian Angel 01

"Who is God?" That's the first question Fr. Ponnudurai asked me during his first counsel with me in a cold, quite place in St. Ignatius Parish, Singapore. I was so embarrassed. I could not even think of one word to answer a simple question that I should supposed to know. He looked into my eyes, shot me a crooked smile and asked me again, "Who is God, Melody?" Shamed-face, I answered, "I don't know, Father". He sighed and said, "God is love and love is God, Melody. That's why you always get into trouble. Everything about life is already written. You just have to open the bible and read." I was totally struck but with humility, I listened to his wisdom. He was the "stranger" who changed me. Blossomed a new perspective and a new principle of my life. That first day with him made me realize my life's purpose. To Love and to be Happy.

A greater ambition chained into my well being and the terrible tempest let me remember that life is indeed to live once. That no matter what struggle you have and you will have, the definite answer is a pure LVE.

How about you? Have you met a stranger that let you understand your entity and changed your perspective in life to be the best person you can be? I did. I was grateful and honored to have conversations with a wise man. Indeed my Guardian Angel.

"The wisdom of the ages teaches that each individual, whether believer or not, good or bad, old or young, sick or well, rich or poor, has a personal guardian angel with him or her at every moment of life's journey." -- Janice T. Connell
