SHOPPING HAUL + QUICK REVIEWS: Sweet Heartbeats of Etude House

HAVE FUN WITH ETUDE HOUSE!

TWEEZERS
Who does not want their eyebrows to look well groomed? Tweezing may sometimes be scary but when you have a cutie, "CATCH ME CAT TWEEZER (Php128.00, approx. USD4.00)" by Etude House, you will have fun doing it. Not only it looks super duper cute but at the same time this is a good pair of tweezers with a slanted edge. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

SILK SCARF
HOLOGRAM HAIR SERUM, 120ml
This anti-frizz serum is . I love that this is not oily on my skin unlike other serums I used before. It gives shine and moisturize my hair. I love that the floral scent is not that strong. This serum is cheaper too than other serum that I used and the packaging is pretty in pink with polka dots! This is Php348.00, approx. USD9.00. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
How to use: Distribute evenly throughout clean, towel-dried hair, concentrating on the ends.

HAIR TREATMENT, 200ml
Truthfully, I have not used this since I am still using my other hair treatment. What I can say is that the packaging is tempting. CUTENESS OVERLOAD! The price is not that expensive too for Php378.00, approx. USD9.50
How to use: Use once or twice a week. Massage into hair and comb through  evenly with fingers. Let treatment work for 5 minutes and rinse thoroughly.

ALOHA Sunset Soothing Pack
Aloha is a 120ml gel mask. This is made of Hisbiscus flower leaves referred as Morning of Sharon of Hawaii. Soothe the skin comfortably with the moisturize gel mask with rich containment. I only use this at night when I feel that my skin is just super dry, usually once a week. Instead of leaving it for 10-15 minutes, I tried to leave it on for 5 minutes only since my skin is just that sensitive. This gel is very cooling and is moisturizing. You should try this . It is not expensive for Php498.00, approx. USD13.00 a jar of 120ml compare to an individual disposable mask. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
How to use: After washing the face, with still some moisture remaining, appropriate amount on the eye area and mouth area. Rinse off with lukewarm water after 10-15minutes.

HIGHLIGHT ME! Body Glam (Net Wt. 20g)
This is  jut absolutely what I've been looking for. A body highlight without scent plus with SPF. This is perfect for summer because of its high SPF of 50+.  It has Argan Oil and Rose water to moisturize ad smooth skin. The texture is creamy so when you apply it with puff, it accentuates glow to your body and legs in a natural way. LOVE IT AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

PUT YOUR HANDS UP
This disappoints me. I never read that this is GREEN CITRUS SCENT. I hated the sour-ish scent. The scent is super duper strong!!! Sorry but I can't take it. The price is a little bit expensive for me for Php378.00, approx. USD9.00 of 40g Deo Perfume Stick. NOT RECOMMENDEND

NAIL POLISHES AND NAIL ARTS
I got some nail polishes too. From left, I got the purple Lucidarling Fantastic for Php128.00, Pink Dear my Blooming Nails for Php178.00, and five of the Petit Darling Nails for Php98.00 each. I can say that the quality is just as good as other brands like COVERGIRL and SALLY HANSEN. I also picked to Nail sticker for Php178.00 each sticker.

I hope you enjoyed the haul and I hope this haul helps you on your future ETUDE HOUSE purchase! Always check for sales and freebies as they do so! Don't forget to sign up for PINK MEMBERSHIP. Review:MAC Sweetly Smoky Crushed Metallic Pigments

I bought a couple  of MAC's Holiday Collections last December 2012 as gifts to my family and friends. I only have a picture of some of the boxes. They are very cute round boxes with cute bows on top. The mint green is for the pigment set and the pink one is for the cremesheen glass set. I left with me 3 out of the 4 pigment shades. I bought these at the Changi International Airport (Singapore) on my way home to Philippines.I paid lesser than the retail price outside.

Review: Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula with Vitamin E

Hi guys! Today is a great day for I have a new laptop to use for my blogging. Anyway, I have lots of reviews of the products I have tried and used for the past months. I will start with one of the most difficult personal things that I've been changing and changing for years. LOTION (or  Body Butter). Yes, I am very particular of what to put on my skin and I have tried lots from expensive ones, to drugstore, and baby lotions. I don't care about the name of the lotion (I care about the formula/ingredients) as long as it is not greasy at the same time the smell is not that strong and tones my skin. One thing that I hated about a specific lotion was not only it darken my skin but left the tone of my skin uneven. And also, the smell of some luxury brands that I've used were too strong which triggered my sinusitis  (gggrrrrr). Well, I tried this one lotion I bought at sale of SGD10.00 (USD8, Php330) for two 250ml-bottle @ Bishan North Shopping Mall (Singapore). This is my first try and let's see how good this lotion is. Keep on reading below for the review.

 WHAT THE PRODUCT SAYS:

Cocoa Butter, enriched with Vitamin E, in a soothing emollient base.  Helps smooth and blend unattractive marks and scars.  Tones skin.  An excellent all-over-the-body moisturizer and after tanning butter.  Retail around SGD10.00 each approx. USD8.00, PHP330.00. I bought mine at buy one take 1 sale for SGD10.00.

Perfect Formula.  Extraordinary Results.®

PARABEN FREE
Palmer's® is against animal testing.
Palmer's does not manufacture store brands.

WHAT I SAY:

This lotion is awesome! This is what I have been looking for years now. This lotion is not sticky, not greasy, moisturizing and my skin just love it! When I go out and sweat, I don't have that skin darkening effect that I used to get from other brands. I love the not so strong chocolate-ish, vanilla scent.
You know that from previous reviews that I was particular with paraben content in a certain product. PARABEN is a NO! NO! and this is PARABEN FREE (wooohoooo!!!).

I love that it helped blend my unattractive stretch marks around my thighs and near my armpits (the product says recommended for stretch marks, during and after pregnancy).  Note: Apply religiously.

This is my favorite lotion so far!!!

VERDICT:

Inexpensive-great product. Highly Recommended but please take note that there are fake PALMER's sold in Philippines as what I have read in the internet. Please make sure you buy the authentic Palmer's. I bought mine at WATSONS STORE in Singapore (so it maybe available at any Watsons Store in Philippines too). In Canada, it is available in all Walmart Store.
